Documents Required:

1. Passport: 

   • Original passport issued within the last 10 years

   • Valid for 6 months beyond the last intended date of departure from Norway

   • Minimum of 2 blank visa pages

   • No alterations or handwritten amendments on data pages

2. Photographs: 

   • Three recent passport-size color photographs (35 mm x 45 mm, no border)

   • Taken within the last 3 months

   • Facial image between 25 mm and 35 mm from chin to crown

   • Plain white background, matt or semi-matt finish

   • Scanned or unclear photos are not accepted

3. Accommodation Proof: 

   • Confirmed hotel voucher, cruise confirmation, or if staying with friends/relatives, an invitation letter with the invitee's ID proof, passport/residence card copy, and their financial documents

4. Flight Ticket: Confirmed flight reservation from India to onward and return destination

5. Itinerary: Day-wise itinerary (on A4 paper or travel agent’s letterhead if booked through an agent)

6. Travel Insurance: Mandatory travel insurance with coverage of at least 30,000 Euros or 50,000 USD per person

   • The insurance should cover medical expenses, repatriation, urgent medical treatment, and emergency medical attention

7. Proof of Sufficient Funds: Bank statements for the last 6 months (signed and attested by a bank official)

   • If the applicant is employed, the bank statement should be from their own account; if sponsored, the sponsor's bank statement is required

8. Income Tax Return (ITR): Income tax return assessment for the last 3 years

   • If employed, provide personal ITR; if sponsored, provide sponsor's ITR

9. Cover Letter: A cover letter from the applicant (on A4 size paper, if employed) or on business letterhead (if self-employed), detailing the purpose of visit, dates, and travel plans

10. Employment Letter: Official company letterhead, stamped and signed

    • Includes name, position, salary, years of employment, and approval of absence during travel

11. Leave Letter: Leave approval letter from employer along with employment ID card copy

12. NOC (No Objection Certificate): NOC from school/institute for students or minors with a copy of ID card

13. GST Copy: If self-employed, a copy of the GST certificate is required

14. Biometric Data: 

    • First-time applicants must submit biometric data (children under 12 are exempt)

    • Biometric data remains valid for 59 months (from the date of submission) for travel to any Schengen country

    • Some member countries may request re-submission if necessary 

Important Information:

• Schengen Area: Norway is part of the 27 Schengen countries. If traveling to multiple Schengen countries, Norway must be the country of maximum stay or the first point of entry if stays are equal in all countries.

• The visa process may require additional documents as deemed necessary by the embassy or our visa experts.

• Visa Fee: Non-refundable, whether the visa is approved or rejected

• Exchange Rate Fluctuations: Fees may vary due to currency exchange rate fluctuations
