Visa Details:

• Visa Type: Tourist

• Stay: Up to 30 days

Documents Required:

1. Passport: Original passport issued within the last 10 years

   • Valid for 6 months beyond the intended date of departure from the Netherlands

   • At least 2 blank visa pages

   • No alterations or handwritten amendments in the data pages

2. Photograph: Three recent passport-size colored photographs (35 mm wide by 45 mm high without a border)

   • Taken within the last 3 months

   • Facial image must be between 25 mm and 35 mm from chin to crown

   • Plain white background with a matte or semi-matte finish

   • No scanned or unclear photographs accepted

3. Accommodation Proof: Confirmed hotel voucher, cruise confirmation voucher, or invitation letter from a friend/relative (with invitee ID proof, passport, or residence card copy, and their financial documents)

4. Flight Ticket: Confirmed flight reservation (India to onward and return flights)

5. Itinerary: Day-wise itinerary or travel agent's letterhead detailing travel plans

6. Travel Insurance: Mandatory with coverage of minimum 30,000 Euros or 50,000 USD per person

   • Covers all expenses including repatriation, medical emergency, or hospitalization

   • Insurance should cover the entire stay in the Schengen territory

7. Proof of Sufficient Funds: Last 6 months' bank statements (signed and attested by a bank official) or bank statement of the sponsor, if applicable

   • Statements must be dated within the last week

8. Income Tax Return (ITR): Income tax return assessment for the last 3 years (or sponsor’s ITR)

9. Cover Letter: Covering letter from the applicant (on A4 size paper if employed, or business letterhead if self-employed)

10. Employment Letter: Official company letterhead, stamped and dated, with contact information

    • Should mention the applicant’s name, position, salary, years of employment, and approval for absence

11. No Objection Certificate (NOC): NOC from school/institute (if the applicant is a student or minor)

12. GST Copy:  If self-employed, a copy of GST registration

13. Leave Letter: Leave letter from the employer along with an employment ID card copy (if employed)

14. Biometric:

    • Required for first-time Schengen visa applicants (children under 12 are exempt)

    • Previously submitted biometric data (after 2nd November 2015) is valid for 59 months for Schengen travel
