Entry Type: Single Entry
1. Passport
Original passport issued within the last 10 years.
Valid for at least 6 months beyond the last intended departure date from Finland.
Must contain a minimum of 2 blank visa pages.
Should have no alterations or handwritten amendments on data pages.
2. Photograph
Three recent colored passport-size photographs.
Dimensions: 35 mm x 45 mm (without border), taken within the last 3 months.
Facial image size: 25 mm to 35 mm from chin to crown.
Plain white background with matt or semi-matte finish.
Scanned or unclear photographs will not be accepted.
3. Accommodation
Provide one of the following:
Confirmed hotel voucher.
Cruise confirmation voucher.
If staying with friends/relatives:
Invitation letter with invitee's ID proof.
Invitee’s passport/residence card copy and financial documents (colored scanned copies via email accepted).
4. Flight Ticket
Confirmed round-trip flight reservation (India to onward and return).
5. Itinerary
A day-wise travel itinerary on plain A4 size paper.
If booked through a travel agent, the itinerary should be on the agent’s letterhead.
6. Travel Insurance
Mandatory travel insurance with coverage of €30,000 (minimum) or $50,000 USD per person.
Coverage must include:
Repatriation for medical reasons.
Urgent medical attention.
Emergency medical treatment in hospitals.
Insurance must cover the entire stay in the Schengen territory.
For long-term multiple-entry visas (6 months or 1 year), insurance for the first journey is sufficient.
7. Proof of Funds
Last 6 months' bank statement signed and attested by a bank official.
If self-sponsored, provide your bank statement.
If sponsored, provide the sponsor’s bank statement.
All bank statements must be dated within the last 1 week.
8. Income Tax Returns (ITR)
Last 3 years’ ITR assessment (if employed).
For sponsored trips, provide the sponsor’s ITR.
9. Cover Letter
Employed: Covering letter on plain A4 paper.
Self-Employed: Covering letter on business letterhead.
10. Employment Letter
Official employment letter on company letterhead:
Stamped and dated with contact information (address, email, phone).
Name, position, and signature of the countersigning officer.
Must include:
Applicant’s position, salary, years of employment, and approval of leave.
11. NOC (No Objection Certificate)
For students/minors: NOC from the school/institute along with a copy of the student ID card.
12. GST Copy
For self-employed applicants, a GST certificate copy is required.
13. Leave Letter
Leave letter from the company along with a copy of the Employment ID card (if employed).
14. Biometric
Indian citizens applying for a Schengen visa for the first time must provide biometric data.
Children under 12 years are exempt from this requirement.
Previously submitted biometric data (after 2nd November 2015) is valid for 59 months.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all Schengen visa applications.
Visa issuance is at the discretion of the visa counselor. HN Travel Assistant only acts as a representative.
Service fees are non-refundable regardless of the visa outcome.
