Australia Visa Application - Documents Required

Mandatory Documents

1. Passport

• Should be valid for 6 months beyond the intended date of departure from Australia.

• Must contain at least 2 blank visa pages.

• Should have no alteration or handwritten amendments on the data pages.

2. Photograph

• Colored passport-size photograph (35 mm wide x 45 mm high, without border), taken within the last 3 months.

• Applicant's full face must be clearly visible without any headgear.

• Plain white background is mandatory.

3. Invitation Letter

• Applicants staying with relatives or friends must provide an invitation letter along with a copy of the host’s ID proof.

• If visiting for medical emergencies like daughter/daughter-in-law’s pregnancy, a letter from the hospital/doctor stating the patient’s condition is required.

4. Cover Letter

• Applicants must submit a cover letter on A4 paper or business letterhead.

• Employed applicants must include income tax returns (ITR) for the last 3 years.

  • If ITR is unavailable, either salary slips or an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the employer must be provided.

• Self-employed applicants must also include the company’s ITR for the last 3 years.

5. NOC (No Objection Certificate)

• For Employed Applicants:

  • NOC from the employer along with a copy of the employment ID card or business card.

  • Alternatively, last 3 months' salary slips and a copy of the employment ID card are acceptable.

• For Children Under 18 Years: Notarized NOC from any non-accompanying parent, along with passport copies of the parents.

• For Students Traveling with Family: Evidence of enrollment from the college/school/institute along with an NOC is required.

6. Other Documents

• If children under 18 years of age are staying in Australia with someone other than parents, legal guardians, or relatives:

• A declaration signed by the person taking responsibility in Australia is required.

• Caretaker’s valid ID proof/passport copy must be submitted.

7. Aadhaar Card: A valid Aadhaar Card must be uploaded.

• All Indian passport holders require a valid visa to enter Australia.

• Each applicant must submit all mandatory documents listed above.

• Visa fees are non-refundable regardless of approval or rejection.
